RelativA Tuner

Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: August 14, 2026

Imaxis ("we", "our", or "us") provides the RelativA Tuner mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, how information is used and shared, and the choices available to you.

1. Information the App accesses and processes

Microphone access

The App requests the Android RECORD_AUDIO permission solely to provide real-time instrument tuning and frequency calculation. Audio is processed temporarily in memory on your device and discarded immediately after analysis. The App does not create audio recordings or send microphone audio to us or to advertising providers.

Device and advertising data

When the App is connected to the internet, the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) may automatically collect or process information such as your IP address, device and app information, advertising identifiers, diagnostic information, consent choices, and ad interactions such as impressions and clicks. Google uses this information to deliver and measure ads, limit how often ads are shown, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with privacy choices.

Local preferences

Settings such as the selected theme and tuning preferences may be stored locally on your device so the App can remember your choices. We do not receive these settings on an Imaxis server.

2. How information is used

Information is processed only as needed to:

  • provide real-time pitch detection and tuning features;
  • remember your local App preferences;
  • deliver, measure, and protect advertising through Google AdMob;
  • manage legally required advertising consent and privacy choices; and
  • confirm an in-app purchase and enable the purchased feature.

3. Third-party services and sharing

We do not share microphone audio with third parties. Advertising and consent data may be processed by Google through AdMob and UMP as described above. We do not independently sell or rent your personal information.

For more information about Google's practices, please review:

4. In-app purchases

The App offers an optional lifetime "Remove Ads" purchase through Google Play Billing. Google Play processes the transaction and payment details. The App receives the purchase confirmation or entitlement information needed to unlock the feature, but we do not receive or store your full payment card or bank account details.

5. Advertising consent and your choices

Where required, Google UMP presents consent choices before eligible advertising data is processed. If a privacy options entry point is available for your region, you can revisit your choices in the App under Settings > Ad Privacy Choices. You can also manage or reset your device's advertising identifier through Android system settings. Menu names may vary by device and Android version.

6. Data retention and deletion

We do not operate a user-account database for the App and do not retain microphone audio on our servers. Local preferences remain on your device until you clear the App's data or uninstall it. Information processed by Google is retained according to Google's own policies and your settings.

7. Data security

Microphone analysis is kept on-device and is not transmitted by the App. We limit the information handled directly by Imaxis and rely on Google Play and Google Mobile Ads security controls for purchase and advertising data they process. No method of electronic processing is completely secure, but we use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the limited information handled by the App.

8. Children's privacy

The App is intended for a general audience aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review the matter.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing. Because Imaxis does not maintain App user accounts or a backend store of microphone data or local preferences, we may not hold information that can be linked to you. For data processed by Google, you can use Google's privacy controls or contact Google as described in its privacy policy. You may also contact us using the details below.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, third-party services, or legal requirements. We will publish the revised policy on this page and update the date above.
